It is easy to get to Kastellet on your own, but if you prefer, we will arrange transport all the way. By boat from Nybrokajen it takes 45-75 minutes depending on which boat you take. It is also possible to get here by bus, car or taxi – but the last distance is always by water taxi to Kastellet. Waxholmsbolaget’s traffic is part of Stockholm’s public transport network. Just like in other public transport, you can not book a seat. However, if you are a group of more than 10 people, it is good if you check with Customer Service on +46 8-600 10 00 so you can be sure that there will be room for everyone in your party.

WITH WATER TAXI:
An fast and easy way to visit us. From Vaxholm’s harbour it takes 2 minutes by water taxi, but of course you can take a taxi from a number of other places.
WITH YOUR OWN BOAT:
You are welcome to travel to us with your own boat, both motor- and sailing boat. Our port has a limited number of places to dock.. Should it be full, there are guest places in the Vaxholm harbour.
If you prefer to travel with Stockholm’s local traffic, bus number 670 departs from the Technical University (Tekniska Högskolan) or Danderyds Hospital. Calculate travel time to approximately 45 minutes. From Vaxholm harbour, the water taxi takes 2 minutes to Kastellet.
