At Bistro Kastellet you can enjoy well-cooked food and “Swedish fika” with local produce. The bistro is situated in a nice corner of the fortress courtyard. Enjoy warm and sunny days in the open-air café and on chillier days we cosy it up under the arches inside the bistro.

The easiest way to get between Vaxholm and Kastellet is by boat, which operates during Bistro’s opening hours. The boat departs from pier 1 in Vaxholm every 20 minutes from 11:25 to 17:05 during Bistro Kastellet’s opening hours. The last boat from Kastellet departs at 17:15.
